Delivery Time

Engraved plastic and stainless steel plaques created on our SignStudio ordering system are normally delivered the day after the order is fulfilled if the order has been placed before 18:00. For another type of order (aluminium, printed plastic, special-finish stickers) delivery normally takes an extra day unless ordered before 14:00. Billing and delivery addresses must always be provided when ordering with SignStudio.

Warranty

Signs & Labels Direct provides a one-year warranty on delivered signs. Most of our products are UV resistant and approved for outdoor use. Engraved plastic signs have an engraving depth of 0.08mm. More information can be found here

Discounts

A 10% discount is given on orders via the webtool with orders exceeding £100. The tool always shows the correct price with discounts received deducted from the price displayed. For larger orders, we are open to discussion.

Returns and Payment Terms

If for any reason, an order needs to be returned, please contact us for further information within 30 days of delivery of the products. Payment terms are 30 days from the date of invoice issue. All prices are GBP. Any interest for late payment will be charged on the current discount rate plus eight percent (8%).

Price for Service

A fixed fee of £10 is charged for all orders placed by our customer service team or any special orders that cannot be placed through the tool. Labor costs for more extensive editing are charged £15/pwh.

Shipping Costs

We apply shipping costs as follows: £6.95 for shipping and packaging smaller orders OR £11.95 for shipping and packaging larger orders.

Liability

Customers agree not to hold Signs and Labels Direct Ltd responsible for any claims, liabilities, injuries or extra costs that may result from the use of products from Signs and Labels Direct Ltd.

The normal dispatch time is 24 hours for engraved signs in plastic, metal, printed plastic, aluminium and stickers. For embossed cable markers the dispatch time is 72 hours.

Yes, all discounts are automatically added to your total. When you order for more than £100 you get 10% discount and for more than £200 you get 15%. The discount is shown automatically in the tool along with the total price.

You can easily change address, phone number and contact person under "Change address". "Change address" will appear in the menu when signing in. You can also change your password there.

Sign into your account and go to "Order history". There you will find all your previous orders and the invoices. You can open a project by clicking "SSO" to the far right. You can also click the disk symbol to get the delivery note. If you open a project, you can use it as a start for your new project. Just change what you need and then click "Save as" to create a new name for the file.

Every account is linked to just one password. But you are more than welcome to register a new account for the same company.

No problem, you have easy access to your invoices by clicking "Order history" and choosing "Invoices". You will get that menu option by signing in. From there, you can also print out the invoices giving you easy access anytime.

All your projects are saved and you can open them again easily in the Sign Studio. Sign in and select the tool where you made the sign. Click "Open" and choose the project. Mark the sign you need to change in the list at the bottom of the page, make the changes and click "Save as". Don’t forget to delete the signs you don’t want to order again.

Yes, then you should use our Excel-import function! Find the product that you need and click the "Excel-import". Follow the instructions. In Sign Studio Advanced you need different Excel-files for each individual template. Simply open the template you need, download the Excel-file, make the changes in Excel and then upload it.

Yes! Start by making one project, for example, plastic signs, but instead of ordering the signs right away, save the project. Then move on to the next material, create the signs you need and save that project. When you have finished with your last sign click "Open". Mark the projects you have just made by clicking in the checkbox to the right and then click "Order selected". On the following screen, you will see a summary of all the signs you are about to order. Click "Send order" if it’s correct.

Yes, the laminated plastic is very durable and suitable for outdoor use. Most of the colours are UV-stable and will last in the sun without fading. In really heavy weather environments with salt water or chemicals we recommend metal signs.

Yes, in our web tool Sign Studio Advanced you can add logos and other pictures to your sign. You can also create templates for different signs and save both the signs and the pictures for use later on your account.
